What counts as a log line
A log line is one entry from your server logs that ends up analyzed in your dashboard. That means two kinds of traffic:
- Bot hits: every visit by Googlebot, by AI crawlers such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot, or PerplexityBot, and by other search engine bots you choose to track. Each hit is checked against the vendor's published identity signals before it is counted.
- Search clicks: every visit that arrives on your site from Google search results.
We count analyzed lines, not gigabytes. A compressed access log that is 90% human pageviews costs far less than its file size suggests. If you only want Googlebot, that is a configuration choice, and it lowers the count.
The guided 30-day trial
The trial is not a sandbox with sample data. During the first month, we analyze all of your logs together, on your real data, and you compare the results side by side with your current tool. At the end of the 30 days, you decide: continue on a paid plan, or switch automatically to the free version. No credit card, no commitment, and your data remains exportable either way.
You do not need the trial to get started: create a free account and subscribe self-serve whenever you are ready. The guided trial is for when you want a technical peer looking at your data with you, which is also how your first project ends up configured correctly on day one.
Why the price is public
Most enterprise log analyzers only give you a number after a discovery call. We publish ours because a technical SEO evaluating tools should be able to budget before talking to sales, and because a price you can compute yourself is a price you can hold us to. For self-serve volumes, the same pricing engine that renders this page is the one that generates your invoice: the calculator is not a marketing approximation.
Publishing the price also forces us to keep it defensible. The numbers below are what actually runs in production, so the grid is set by real infrastructure economics, not by what a deal desk thinks a logo can pay.
Pricing questions
How am I billed?
By log volume per month and number of projects, plus crawl credits if you use the crawler. Every feature is included on every paid plan. Monthly with no commitment, or annually with a 10% discount.
What happens if I exceed my volume?
We warn you and adjust the tier together: no cutoff, no surprise invoice. You can also request the hard cap; in that case we keep the recent data and shorten the history rather than raise the bill.
I only want Googlebot log analysis. Is that possible?
Yes. Your project can be scoped to Googlebot only, and widened to AI crawlers and other engines whenever you want: tell us at setup or later. Ingestion filters also let you exclude static assets, gclid clicks and prefetch traffic from the count.
Do crawl credits really roll over?
Yes. URLs you do not crawl in a given month carry over to the next, within the limits of your contract. You can bank credits for a rebuild or a one-off audit, instead of paying twelve times your peak month.
What happens after the guided 30-day trial?
The guided trial is requested through the contact form: during the first month, we analyze all of your logs with you, on your real data. At the end, you continue on a paid plan or stay on the free account (10,000 lines per month, 1 project). No credit card is required, so there is nothing to cancel. If you signed up on your own, there is no trial to end: you are on the free plan and can subscribe from the app whenever you want.
How does the price compare with Botify, Oncrawl and JetOctopus?
JetOctopus also publishes its prices; its 1 million tier is listed at €383 per month billed annually.
Botify and Oncrawl are quote-only for log analysis at scale. Price is only one axis: verification methodology and data model matter as much.
Why is your price public when competitors quote?
Because you should be able to budget before a sales call, and because a published price keeps us honest: the calculator on this page runs the same pricing engine as our billing. The only thing that requires a conversation is volume above 20 million lines per month, where infrastructure cost varies enough that a flat public rate would be wrong in one direction or the other.
